The DMV is not yet know for its place among the growing industry of eSports, but organizations like Capitol Underground Gaming League, Coplay Media, The Game Gym, and many others are at the forefront of this new frontier to bring awareness to the limitless potential eSports holds and finally put DMV competitive gaming on the map. We were able to sit down with DeAyres White from Coplay Media and Josh Victor, the founder of the Game Gym, a eSports training center located right outside DC. We discuss The Game Gym's newly formed eSports club team the Astrodons , the future of DMV eSports, our plans to grow local competitive gaming, and mental and physical techniques to help prepare you for competitions.
